I chose this thumb drive because its casing is completely plastic. I have broken all previous thumb drives by accidently bending the metal part and I am hoping this solves this problem. I was also intrigued by the security feature, but it did not meet my expectations. The application which protects certain files behind a password is finicky. First, the settings folder MUST be stored where the application is opened. This mean that you cannot hide all the extra components (like the settings folder and digital manual which comes with the application) in a folder while the application itself is on the root of the drive nor can you put the application and the settings in a folder and put a shortcut to the application on the root. If the settings folder and the application are separated, the application restarts and makes you set up another password and you loose any files saved in this "protected" location. The security application allows you to keep people from accessing the files but makes it really easy for them to delete them.
Return Policy : You may return any new computer purchased from that is "dead on arrival," arrives in damaged condition, or is still in unopened boxes, for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. reserves the right to test "dead on arrival" returns and impose a customer fee equal to 15 percent of the product sales price if the customer misrepresents the condition of the product.
