After buying and using the Dewalt Twin Pack, I found myself constantly frustrated at having to wait on battery charging when using both tools for piloting and driving. The impact driver eats battery power in no time.
This battery has solved that problem. The battery life is at least as good as the original and actually cost less. Due to the variety of tasks the drill and driver have been used for recently, it's hard for me to say whether I am getting proportionally more life from the battery, but certainly seems no less. I expected the larger capacity battery to take longer to charge, but it still only took the same 40 minute time period as the batteries. I know with the Makita 18v range it takes longer to charge the higher capacity batteries.
All the proportions of the and appear the same, however, the battery is 211g, 10g lighter than the battery.
Easily distinguished from the battery as has yellow top with black release button and catch.
All in, this battery has been a very worthwhile purchase and paid for itself with the amount of down time it has saved me.
