The enclosure works as advertised. The connection to Late 2016 MacBook Pro is fast and stable with no disconnects or errors. Copied 200+GB of data with no issues. The internal frame the drive sits in feels like cheap plastic and as other have said, the enclosure is rough to the touch. The enclosed screw driver would not fit the screws that were installed so had to use my own screw driver, not a big deal but if you don't have one that fits it could be an issue. Also the space gray does not come close to the space gray on the MacBook Pro, shade is way off. When it comes to price & performance though, this enclosure fills the bill. The cable that came with it worked ok but I don't trust it to last long term so ordered 2 quality cables.
