Initially I was skeptical on this bad as there is very little written about it, on purchase however I have to say it was all I could have wanted in the bag. Build quality is good, with ample space for light field usage(dslr with maybe 2 lenses, flash, and cables). The bag is fairly thin which is nice in a camera bag, and the back padding is good for back support. The shape does make it somewhat awkward to put on the floor as it does have a tendency of falling over, but this is a minor issue. Rain cover and tripod holder take up two of the side pockets when not in use, which leaves the large pocket on the top and two more side pockets. The main compartment is configable, and allows you to have 2-3 openable areas which allow you to hold different things in different easyish to access areas. Again this can be a little clunky, but at the same time it helps prevent easy theft so im not complaining too much on that one. The customisable strap config is a nice feature, although i haven't made use of it yet it does look easy to do however.
The bag is quite rugged with well thought out features. It appears quite shiny in photos I've seen which nearly put me off of it but in the hand, the material doesn't look cheap at all and I was very happy with the look of it. It's quite comfortable when fully loaded but there is no clip to join the two shoulder straps in the front. Apart from that, the hip straps are quite wide and well padded and it's comfortable to carry as these take the most of the load. My 7D with a canon 70-200 fits sideways across it and the side opening is wide enough to pull it out for use without problem. Pictures indicate the possibility of carrying 6 additional lenses but if the lenses are quite wide my canon 100mm macroand wide angle it may take 4 lenses plus say a flash unit etc. More kit can be put in the top section though but I can fit in a lightweight waterproof and a lightweight qulited coat plus batteries, cf cards etc. I haven't owned it long enough to comment on durability but one happy customer so far.
An expensive but very well made bag. The 3N1-25 is an ideal backpack for my setup. The main body fits my Sigma 600mm, nikon body and 2 spare lenses and keeps the top compartment free for accessories. The zippered floor allows you to even use the full length of the bag and you can configure the robust padding to your liking. the zippers are strong but i would have preferred them to be lockable and the 4 front clips stop accidental opening or pickpocketing (the top top pockets however are too easy to steal from).
The front mounted tripod holder is not pleasant to use (pulling the pack away from your back) over an underslung system but does prevent damage. The straps are very well made and reassuring. The side opening access is superb and using 1 arm strap unslung you can easily get your camera quickly without having to put the whole pack down.
Have to give this 5 stars as i got a wearhouse return at 1/2 at full price i wouldn't have bought it.
